In the context of global climate change, zero-carbon transition has become a common challenge and opportunity for all countries in the world. Recently, in order to further promote the green and low-carbon transformation and form new quality productivity, the Shanghai Municipal government issued the Action Plan for Accelerating the Green and Low-carbon Transformation in Shanghai (2024-2027).
In the construction field, it is especially pointed out that the large-scale promotion of ultra-low energy buildings, by 2027, the cumulative implementation of ultra-low energy buildings 20 million square meters; Implement green construction in the whole process of engineering construction, and fully implement prefabricated buildings; We will actively promote the application of green, low-carbon building materials and high-performance building materials.
In addition to Shanghai, Shandong, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Anhui, Yunnan and other places have also introduced relevant policies and programs to make requirements for ultra-low energy consumption and near-zero energy consumption building construction.
Towards a sustainable future, building energy consumption innovation is the inevitable way
For a long time, as the main body of energy consumption with industry and transportation, the building sector, its energy consumption has always been high. Globally, urban areas and buildings consume more than two-thirds of end-use energy and generate more than 70% of carbon emissions. Therefore, reducing building energy consumption and realizing urban building energy saving has become the core challenge faced by all countries in the world, and it is also the key to promote sustainable city construction and "double carbon" goal in China.
As an indispensable part of urban development, the transformation of industrial buildings to zero carbon not only demonstrates technological innovation, but also an inevitable way to deal with climate change and promote global green and low-carbon development.

Analysis of China's green construction evaluation standard and American LEED standard
At present, there are many green building certification standards in the world that focus on different directions. In the previous article, we also made a brief introduction. Below, we mainly analyze the difference between China's green building evaluation standards and American LEED standards.
China Green Building Evaluation Standard is a local standard in China, and its index system consists of seven categories of indicators: "basic score of control items, safety and durability, health and comfort, convenience of life, resource conservation, environment livable, improvement and innovation bonus points". Control items must meet, a total of 400 points, full score maximum 1100 points, the total score should be weighted score, full score 110 points. Green buildings are divided into four levels: basic, one star, two star and three star.
The US LEED standard is currently a widely recognized and implemented international certification standard for green buildings. The assessment of buildings is conducted from 8 aspects such as "site selection and transportation, sustainable site, water saving, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, innovation, and regional priority". It contains 12 prerequisites (which must be met) and 43 scoring points. The perfect score is 110. LEED certification levels are divided into four categories: certification, silver, gold, and platinum.

From design to construction, how does wiskind achieve energy efficiency in buildings
Relatively speaking, the certification of LEED standards is more difficult, and it needs to meet a large number of certification requirements and standards, and the certification is progressive, and needs to meet the standards of different certification levels. Although this challenge is not small, it also encourages the construction industry to continuously improve the quality of building design and construction. Against this backdrop, the successful LEED certification of two projects in which wiskind participated demonstrates our innovation and commitment to sustainable building practices.
In the Mars Tianjin pet Food factory project, wiskind's no-purlin system was used with COLORGOLD ® sandwich panels. Purlin-free system makes the building structure integrated, reduces a lot of material loss, and increases the utilization rate of the building area; At the same time, the COLORGOLD ® sandwich panels have good thermal insulation performance and can meet the wind resistance needs of the coastal area of the project. From design, material selection to construction, wiskind provided professional technical support for the project, and finally, the project plant part won LEED silver certification, and the office part achieved LEED gold certification.
The LEED Silver certified Aremon Zhenjiang project uses the SR6® vertical locking roof system, a vertical locking roof system developed by wiskind, which is accurate and fast to install, and has excellent wind and watertight airtight performance, which can effectively block the attack of wind and rain on the building, reduce air convection, reduce heat loss, and make the building more comfortable and energy efficient.
Peroration
With the continuous improvement and implementation of relevant regulations and policies issued by the government, green building design, green building materials, green building construction, green building operation and other aspects have gradually transformed from concepts into practical projects. Wiskind will also continue to take the mission of "providing high-quality building solutions for the upgrading of the intelligent manufacturing industry" as its mission, and follow the principles of green and innovative product development and high-quality engineering construction quality management to help promote the sustainable and low-carbon development of the construction industry.
